The cylindrical case with urn surmount, on an openwork base with outset scrolls above a rectangular plateau raised on claw feet, with painted porcelain panels overall, the dial with Roman chapters, lacking hands, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell, stamped to the backplate JAPY FRERES & CIE, 227
