Manuscript on dark cream paper, 287ff. with 11ll. of black muhaqqaq, gold rosettes between verses, opening bifolio with text within hatched clouds highlighted with blue dots, framed within gold illumination with lotus flowers on red ground, titles in white thuluth on blue panels, sura headings in gold thuluth with vocalisation in blue, final folio with colophon recording the date of completion of this volume on 26 Dhu'l Qa'da 818, overall clean condition, small areas of repair, in contemporary brown morocco tooled binding, rather damaged
