PERSIA OR NORTH INDIA, EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Of rectangular form with drop front revealing six drawers, the top, front and interior of the front each with a complex khatamkar design of shaped geometric medallions within multiple borders, the fronts of the drawers also similarly decorated, each side with a single six-pointed large khatamkar star, restored, the mosaic decoration possibly re-used from an earlier box
