painted and gilt with a central portrait medallion within a wide band of interlacing flowers, the reverse similar, the interior with a mythological scene depicting a semi-clad woman and eagle among rockwork -- 5½.in (14cm) high; and another lacquer mirror case of shaped rectangular form, painted with a portrait of a woman within flowers on a green ground -- 6¼.in (15.9cm) high, 19th Century.
