of a seated Buddha holding a smaller figure and various attributes on a lotus petal base, below clouds and pomegranates before a river and mountainous landscape -- 15in. (38.3cm.) high; and another painted and gilt thanka with a figure wearing scull headdress and wielding a scull sword within a flaming mandarla surrounded by further figures with various attributes -- 16¾in. (42.5cm.) high, 18th and 19th Century, (old wear).
