painted with a Bodhisatva seated on the back of a lion surrounded by numerous deities among clouds above a Chinese seated figure surrounded by further deities -- 22¼in. (56.5cm.) high; and another similar thanka -- 23¾in. (60cm.) high, 19th Century, (old wear).
