an important cham, thap mam style, grey stone pediment
circa 12th century
Carved at the front with a large kirttimukha, with bulging eyes set against tear drop-shaped eyebrows, broad nose above open mouth showing teeth and fangs, supporting a female divinity visible from her waist with fringe from the sari turned downwards, both hands raised and perhaps holding lotus and club, wearing belt and necklace, her face with linked ridged eyebrows above slit eyes, broad nose, pouting lips and high shaped tiara, traces of red and blue pigments
