A GILT METAL AND MOLTEN GLASS PENDANT, CHANEL
Byzantine inspired, designed as a cross, the sculpted bail suspending green molten glass rectangular segments centering a red molten glass square, 3.75 in.
Signed Chanel on a circular plaque
This pendant is a "rough work", conceptualized by M. Goossens, 1960-65. There were pictures of similar designs in various fashion magazines of the time.
