The drop-front centred by a monkey seated on a string held by two herm-cherubs, the interior fitted with three drawers and three sliding panels, the slope with a gilt-tooled tan-colour writing-surface, the drop-front centred by a foliate cartouche, on four cabriole legs, each headed by a foliate clasp, on cast sabots
