A pair of French gilt-bronze pedestals
In the Louis XV Style, After Caffieri, Circa 1890
Each surmounted by a shaped stepped brèche rouge et dorée marble top, the front and sides each centred by a flower spray, flanked to each side by scrolling foliage, the front centred by a cartouche and acanthus apron, on four scrolling foliate legs headed to the front by a medallion portrait, the back legs joined by a pierced foliate stretcher, on acanthus feet
Each ormolu base: 52 in. (132 cm.) high;
One marble top: 2¾ in. (7 cm.) high; 24 in. (61 cm.) wide; 17 in. (43 cm.) deep;
The other marble top: 1½ in. (4 cm.) high; 23½ in. (60 cm.) wide; 16¼ in. (41.5 cm.) deep (2)
