Surmounted by two courting doves, above a circular dial, the twin-train movement with countwheel strike, inscribed S. MARTI/MEDAILLE DE BRONZE/236012/3, flanked to each side by a reading seated putto, above a scène galante signed L. Simonnet, flanked to each side by a flower-filled urn on a column, on a lambrequin base
