AN EGYPTIAN PALE GLAZED COMPOSITION AMULET OF ISIS
CIRCA 6TH-4TH CENTURY B.C.
The striding goddess crowned with the hieroglyph for her name, mounted, 1¼ in. (3.2 cm.) high; a green glazed composition wedjat-eye amulet with incised details, 1½ in. (3.2 cm.) long; a turquoise glazed composition djed-pillar, 1¼ in. (3.1 cm.) high, all pierced for suspension; and a dark grey steatite pierced upper part of a mummiform shabti figure, wearing a pectoral and embraced by the wings of a scarab below, 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high, all 6th-2nd Century B.C. (4)
