A Regency rosewood and foliate cut brass inlaid striking bracket clock, first quarter 19th century
The case with brass pineapple finial to the chamfered top, ripple moulded galleries, with cornucopia and ring handles to the sides above silk-backed fish scale sound frets, with fielded quarter panels to the front brass inlaid with foliate designs, on brass ball feet, the repainted white convex dial with steel crescent moon and scroll hands, strike/no strike above XII, the twin wire fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, arched plates with engraved border and pendulum holdfast; with numbered Percy Webster label to inside rear door, restorations, movement securing brackets repaired (possibly replaced) -- 19¾in. (50cm.) high

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate on the Friday following the sale and every weekday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE SALE.
On the Thursday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
