The case with chamfered architectural top with gadrooned border, tracery arch glazed side panels, on stepped and moulded base and bun feet, the 8in. square silvered dial with gilt-brass scroll and flower spandrels to a silvered chapter ring, strike/not strike by III, the matted centre with inverted arch pendulum regulation below XII, signed on a silvered plaque to the centre Allam & Clements LONDON, with date aperture below, the twin wire fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, pull trip repeat, the backplate engraved with foliate scrolls around a flowering basket, with holdfast, the pendulum bob engraved with an eagle; case associated to dial and movement, case 20th century, dial and movement last quarter 18th century -- 14in. (35.5cm.) high

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate on the Friday following the sale and every weekday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE SALE.
On the Thursday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
