A Chinese armorial plate
painted in famille rose and underglaze blue enamels with a cenral crest bearing the motto 'Deo Duce Ferro Comitante'surmounted by a griffin head within borders of precious object cartouches and geometric designs -- 7½in. (19cms) diam; and a further armorial plate with a central crest bearing the motto 'Virtutis Amore' wihtin a trailing vine border -- 7¾in. (19.6csm) diam, Qianlong, (damages).
