With signed rebrowned two-stage barrel and silver spider fore-sight, engraved grooved tang, signed border engraved flat lock with moulded border, varnished figured walnut half-stock carved in relief with a shell behind the barrel tang, engraved iron mounts including butt-plate with pierced tang, and trigger-guard with second pattern acorn finial, pierced and chiselled rococo side-plate, horn fore-end cap, and horn-tipped iron-capped ramrod (minor scattered pitting), Birmingham proof marks
