Each domed lid with wheat stop-fluted rosette and feather and tassel finial above a tapering circular body set with a molded and pierced neck mount joined at either side by a foliate scroll issued from the head of a griffon term, on a molded inswept stem and foot and a square base with inswept corners, one lid repaired

Lot Essay

Jean-François Henrion l'aîné, was active at Sèvres as a painter of flowers and patterns from 1770-81 and again from 1783-84.
