John Charles Spencer, 3rd Earl, Lord Althorp (1782-1845) the English politician was educated at Harrow and Trinity College, Cambridge. He was known by his courtesy title Lord Althorp. He became Whig Chancellor of the Exchequer and leader of the House of Commons
