A FLAMBE-GLAZED VASE, HU
INCISED GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD
The archaistic vase moulded on both facets with peach-form cartouches and applied with a pair of lug handles, covered overall and on the inside of the mouth with a glaze of bright flambe tone darkening at the corners and at the handles, suffused with streaks of pale blue, the reign mark incised on to the unglazed base
