ENCIRCLED YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF PERIOD

Finely potted with steep rounded sides, the exterior is delicately enamelled with a dense scroll of alternating iron-red and yellow exotic flowers issued from slender stems with curly leaves and colourful tendrils, the interior with a central floral medallion

A bowl of similar design and with a Yongzheng mark, from the Helen and Peter Lin Collection, was included in the Min Chiu Society exhibition, Joined Colors: Decoration and Meaning in Chinese Porcelain, 1993, Catalogue, no. 26.
