Including a rosewood and ebony and brass strung workbox, late 19th century, the cover inset with rectangular mother-of-pearl, the cover and front with brass stringing, the blue silk lined interior with various turned ivory and mother-of-pearl sewing implements -- 13in. (33cm.) wide, 9½in. (24.2cm.) deep, 5½in. (14cm.) high; a Victorian oak and brass mounted work box, third quarter 19th century; a Victorian rosewood and brass strung toilet box, mid 19th century; two Sorento-ware boxes; two rosewood and mother-of-pearl inset boxes, one containing ivory sewing implements; a George III walnut tea caddy; a further tea caddy; and a brass casket (10)

No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 17.5% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis. On the Thursday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
