Two Mughal gold damascened punch daggers
Circa 1800
each with double-edged tapering triangular watered steel blade, the shafts of the hilt linked by a double grip, the surface covered with a gold damascened fine floral lattice, one with associated olive-green velvet covered wooden sheath with gold damascened pierced steel chape -- 18¾in. (47.5cm.) max. long, (old wear).
