A large Qajar tinned copper candlestick
First Half 19th Century
of trumpet form with conical neck rising to turban shaped boss, the body engraved with a central band of large nasta liq inscription contained within cartouches separated by other cartouches with rabbits and lions between bands of further nasta liq inscription and minor floral bands, neck and boss similarly engraved, with dedication inscription -- 23¼in. (59cm.) high.
