A garniture of three Davenport 'chalcedony' earthenware vases
the shouldered oviform bodies applied with quilin-head handles, each painted in russet shades with fruit, the reverse with a lesser spray, between gilt bands below key pattern borders, the handles painted to imitate bronze, circa 1815 (one of the smaller vases with a chipped handle, some light scratches), the tallest -- 20cm. highSee illustration (3)
