The girl in white holding a pink rose

This work is both historically and artistically significant in terms of the development of the artist's career. It was in 1940 when the artist first met the owner of Galerie Romanet, and it is this work that impressed the gallery owner so much that he proposed a contract to Le Pho which would only end in the 1960s.
