a meissen group of Cupid sharpening arrows Circa 1860-1880, marked with small underglaze blue crossed swords with dotted hilts and in red with 54. and Pressnummern 147 above E26.
(Amor - Pfeile schleifend) gilt and painted in colours, he sharpening arrows on a wheel-barrow, standing before a tree, and a scantily clad girl seated beside a basket filled with arrows, hearts and scissors, holding a flaming torch and an arrow, upon a high rockwork base (minor chips)
