FROM THE BRITAINS ARCHIVE SALE - 27th JUNE 1994 In 1993, during Britains Centenary year, Britans decided to bring their company Archive to the salerooms and hand over their legacy to private collectors. Auction houses vied for the honour of conducting this landmark sale and Christie's were successful, producing a souvenir reference catalogue in 1994. Arnold J. Rolak acquired many of the more esoteric items from this sale to fit with his already growing array of unique Britains memorabolia.
