The rectangular top with concentric banding and raised edge, the reverse with an inset green baize-lined playing-surface above a backgammon board and flanked by two plain rectangular panels, the frieze with one short drawer and one simulated drawer to each side, on one side with pull-out chequerboard, the turned tapering fluted legs headed by a lozenge and terminating in brass castors, with twenty-eight ivory playing-counters, some brass fillets to the fluting of the legs lacking and with later oil gilding
