The katana blade honzukuri, torii-zori, ko-itame hada with extended chu-gissaki, choji-gunome hamon with ashi and midare-komi boshi, ubu nakago signed tachi-mei Jokeishi Masaaki tsukuru kore and dated Keio 1st year (1865), 71.3cm., the wakizashi blade honzukuri, shallow torii-zori, itame hada with ji-nie, chugissaki, gunome-choji hamon, of nioi with ko-maru boshi, ubu nakago signed Tairyusai Sokan [Munehiro] tsukuru kore and dated Keio 4th year (1868), 45.6cm., in their gold flecked lacquer saya decorated with butterflies in gold lacquer, shibuichi ishimeji fuchi-kashira with kiku and leaves in iroe takazogan, shakudo and gilt menuki of kiku, shiiremono kogai and kozuka decorated with kiku, iron tsuba carved in low relief with foliage, gilt details, each signed Goto Seijo and kao
