Lot Essay

Liberty continued to produce items that kept with the Arts and Crafts tradition of individual hand produced ware by applying a finish that simulated hand hammering. Here it is combined with the beginings of the Art Nouveau inspired floriform lines with the inclusion of honesty seedheads on sinuous, intertwining stems.
