This wine has developed magnificently over the last 4-5 years. Huge, old-style, massive, thick, rich, it is crammed with concentrated, chocolaty, berry fruit with a hint of leather, smoked meat and licorice. The flavours are so cincentrated that I am going to go out on a limb and say this may be the most concentrated Trotanoy made since 1945. 96+ points (R.P. 1998)
