The Cromer Hospital, founded over 130 years ago, is a small hospital (with only 36 beds) which provides a range of services to the residents of North Norfolk. Popular due to its welcoming atmosphere, the local residents raise a majority of the funds each year. The proceeds from this brooch, along with various other jewels from this estate to be sold in the Christie's, London November 29th Jewels auction, will be donated to the hospital to help ensure its continuing success.
