An oak six-leg refectory table, English, 19th century
incorporating 17th century parts, the one piece rectangular top with cleated ends, above channel moulded scratch carved frieze rails, one side initialled and dated EWS 1620, on foliate-carved bulbous legs with foliate scroll spandrels and joined by channelled square section stretchers, the top with a small initialled pewter plaque nailed to the surface -- 112in. (285cm.) long, 32½in. (82cm.) high, 28in. (71cm.) wide
