The figure is modelled with pendulous ears and eyes downcast to give an impression of gentle contemplation, the hands held in dhyanasana supporting a sphere on one upturned palm, seated in vajrasana under the voluminous outer robe fallen in folds around the base, the inner robe gathered across the mid-riff with a bow revealing the bare chest adorned with a beaded jewellery chain and suspended pendants
