The rectangular case with carved jadeite oval-shaped panel of foliate design to a blue enamel border with turquoise enamel corner scrolls and rose-cut diamond pierced terminals, with black enamel border detail and rose-cut diamond pushpiece, with interior mirror, lipstick and powder compartments, with French assay and maker's marks, circa 1925, 8.5cm. wide (slight enamel damage)
