An album containing thirty-six triptychs and forty-two single sheets mainly consisting of musha-e; seventeen of the triptychs are by Kuniyoshi, and the remaining nineteen are by Shuntei, Kunisada, Sadahide, Sadafusa, Yoshitsuya, Yoshikazu, Yoshitora, Yoshiiku, Yoshitoshi etc.; among the Kuniyoshi triptychs are Soma no furu-dairi Masakado no himegimi Takiyasha [Mitsukuni facing the giant skeleton-spectre conjured up by the witch Takiyasha]; Benkei ga yuriki tawamure ni Miidera tsurigane o... [Benkei hauling away the Great bell of Miidera]; Raiko's retainers playing go distracted by the Earth-Spider's demons; Kusonoki no shin tsujikaze itamochi Hosokawa Sadauji ikedori no zu [The Battle in the rain at Fujiidera]; among the triptychs by other artists are Yositsuya's Oeyama Shuten taiji [Slaying the drunken demon of Oeyama] depicting Minamoto no Morimitsu attacking the giant demon; the forty-two single sheets comprise twenty-one by Kuniyoshi and twenty-one by Kunimori, Sadahide, Yoshitsuya etc. and include nine sheets from the series Hodo Yoshitsuni koi no Minamoto Ichidaikai [Scenes from the life of Minamoto no Yoshitsune]; three sheets from the series Koetsu yusho den [Biographies of gallant generals]; four sheets from the extremely rare series Yeiyu Goshike Awase [Heroes matched with the five colours]
