A 17th Century[?] inclinometer
fret worked lyre shaped frame and brass fitted outer frame with weighted steel pundulum and bone scale; together with a late 18th Century 8in. diameter station circle signed and stamped Cary London R.203.V sprung folding arms, central glazed port, silvered scale and verniers with index arm and adjusting wheel contained within a circular wooden case with brass plate in lid, the inclinometer -- 15¼ x 12in. (38.5 x 30.5cm.)
