the borders gilt with a band of scrolls suspending stylised ornament with blue and claret 'jewels' painted to simulate precious stones, the handles, interiors and well richly gilt, retailer's marks for Gilman Collamore & Co., New York, printed green marks, circa 1890 (light glaze crazing and rubbing to gilding); and a blue-ground miniature loving cup, painted with a lakeland view within an oval panel, gilt with clover leaves, printed green mark, circa 1910 -- 3.5cm. high
