A Vienna style claret-ground plate
painted by A. Heim with a Venus and Cupid, signed, within a border painted with scrolling foliage reserved on a chocolate-brown ground within shaped rectangular panels, and ivory-ground panels gilt with birds, titled to the reverse Amor entwaffnet, blue beehive mark (chipped and cracked) -- 24.5cm. diam.; and a plate painted with three classical figures and cupid beside a tree in a landscape, within a pale-blue and violet border reserved with claret and orange panels gilt with ornament, blue beehive mark -- 24.5cm. diam., late 19th century (some wear)
