In 1970, he became a fulltime wildlife artist and over the past 30 years has painted a varied range of mammals and birds. David has travelled to many of the world's remotest places in search of reference on endangered species. The focus of many of his recent pictures has been on psittacines, and since 1993, David has been involved with fundraising for the World Parrot Trust.
