NIKI SAUNDERS
Niki's artistic value was recognised at an early age by her school tutors in her native Zimbabwe. She was exposed to the country's abundant wildlife in their natural habitat which she was fortunate to have shared for many years. After a number of years commiting to family responsibilities, Niki focused on her artistic career in the early 1980's. She began working in Indian ink applying the 'cross-hatch' technique in her portrayal of wildlife subjects which has proven to be highly successful in the formation of convincing images.
