Thereafter, she worked in advertising for several years in Southern Africa and Britain and subsequently lectured in painting, graphics and drawing, leaving that field in order to paint full time, concentrating largely on wildlife. Her imagery originates from her love for Africa and her endeavours to capture a richness of flora and fauna of this vast savage and colourful continent. Zamek's work has been selected for national and group exhibitions and is in private collections in America, Australia, Britain and Southern Africa.
