At the early age of 14, he won 1st prize at the Royal Nairobi Show for a painting of a Kudu bull. In 1972 he moved to Namibia and started painting seriously, he turned professional in 1981 and has exhibited work internationally. Peter was general manager of a 110,000 acre private game reserve which provided amble opportunity to study wildlife in its natural surroundings. Peter is a keen conservationist and a proportion of his work has been donated to wildlife conservation projects via numerous zoological societies throughout the USA, Southern Africa and Namibia.
