The Six-20 Brownie Minor camera was introduced in 1935 and discontinued in the same year. It was offered as a premium camera. According to the Brownie Group newsletter only three examples of this camera are known (including this one), two in Australia and one in the UK. Dunn suggests that there is the possibility that the camera is rarer than the 1900 'shoe box' Brownie, although of less historic significance. However, recent research has shown that George Eastman House and the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television also possess examples making five known to date. The example in George Eastman House is slightly different to those known featuring white-painted lettering around the lens and variant retaining clips.
