A Group of Officer's Headdress Plumes
A white horsehair plume for 1871-pattern Dragoon/Dragoon Guards helmet, complete with finial in the form of a copper rose mounted on a white metal rose; another white plume of similar pattern (lacking finial); a red horsehair plume of similar pattern (also lacking finial); a rare Georgian or Victorian red and white horsehair plume, probably for a Yeomanry officer's shako (but conceivably for Georgian Lancer's chapka), complete with gilt retaining-ring and socket in the form of a Grenade with five flames; and another red and white horsehair plume of "stand and fall" style, with screw fitting for attachment to a flat-topped headdress
