The uniform of Lieutenant J.L. Pringle, comprising an Old-Style scarlet jacket by W.M. ANDERSON & Sons, with blue facings edged and trimmed with gold "Broken Bias" lace, blue piping to back-seams, gilt studs to front and twisted gold shoulder-cords bearing Captain's badges of rank in silver embroidery; companion blue high-collared waistcoat, also with studs to front, the edges and pocket-openings trimmed with gold Russia braid; a pair of overalls, also by Anderson & Sons, of massive blue cavalry twill, with double scarlet one-inch stripes of regimental pattern with scarlet central welt; and a blue cloak, by same maker, with two diverging rows of regimental buttons and metal badges of rank.
