ALAN LADD BUCKSKIN PANTS FROM "SASKATCHEWAN"
Universal International Pictures, 1954
A pair of tan-colored buckskin pants with a button fly and fringe sewn down both legs worn by the diminutive Alan Ladd. Three Western Costume Company stamps appear in the waistband as does a Western Costume Company label that reads No. 49-2051-2 Alan Ladd Ch. 1 Waist 28 1/2 Inseam 30 1/2. Slight staining and wear is evident on these pants that were altered for Frankie Avalon a few years later as is evidenced by the F. Avalon handwritten notation also appearing in the waistband. Two small photocopied images of Ladd wearing these pants are included as well.
