Late Kangxi
Finely modelled in recumbent position, the head turned to the left, wide expressive eyes, small curved horns and floppy ears, the right front leg tucked under his chest, the others positioned sideways exposing the cloven hooves, the body enamelled in pale yellow with fur markings picked out in black and following the natural direction of the hair, the nose blackened to simulate its moist texture, minute frittings
