Qianlong
The circular tureen and cover decorated in puce and gilt with flower sprays below a spearhead- and trellis diaper-pattern border, the sides applied with hare-head handles, the domed cover surmounted with pierced crown finial, 20 cm. diam.; and a pair of similarly decorated plates, the shaped rim encircled with a Louis VX-style foliate border, rim frits and star base crack, 22.5 cm. diam.
