'CORNUCOPIA', A UNIQUE HAND-PAINTED PLASTIC TRAY
Piero Fornasetti, Circa 1950s
Rectangular, decorated with a 'cornucopia' shaped basket filled with flowers and foliage, in subtle shades of red, blue, green and amber, with the firm's paper label and with a lithographic zinc template of the design; together with a Piero Fornasetti ceramic plate, decorated with a sunflower with human facial features in a clouded landscape, signed 'FORNASETTI-MILANO MADE IN ITALY', 12 MESI 12 SOLI and 1992.162.1
